The first homes were built in 1997 and the last homes were completed in 2013. The homes were built with a blend of the traditional and the contemporary. The community is built around Arizona Traditions Golf Course, an expansive 18-hole golf course which serves as a beautiful, landscaped centerpiece for the entire community.
Arizona Traditions has a 20,400 square foot community center that contains a well-equipped fitness center. The Community Center also has a woodworking shop, stained glass studio, ceramics and pottery studio, sewing and quilting center, and library.
There is a Sports Bar where you can spend time with friends and if you're a sports fan catch all the major sports games. You can also play a game of billiards or shuffleboard. Enjoy evening breezes and spectacular mountain sunsets by the patio fire pit. It's the kind of lifestyle of which you've dreamed. There is also an 8,300 square foot ballroom/auditorium with a kitchen where there are dinners and dances, as well as some excellent entertainment. Resident volunteers operate the Sports Bar and kitchen.
In addition to the main community center, we have two neighborhood centers. Each has kitchen facilities that are available to residents. One of the centers also has a small fitness center.
For the active adults, the golf course provides you with lots of opportunity to work on your golf game. If golf is not your thing, there are three swimming pools, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, bocce ball courts, and a softball field. There is a walking trail with exercise/stretching stations. Additionally, there are water aerobic, yoga, and Pilates classes.
If you prefer less strenuous activities, we have lots of card and board game clubs from bridge to Mexican train. There are also many social clubs, an RV Club and a Singles Club. In other words, there is something for everyone.
